PERKATA (Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disabled Children) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Kuching community since 1972. It provides holistic, personalized education and care for children with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other learning disabilities. PERKATA is also a strong advocate for inclusion, accessibility, and support for special needs children across Sarawak—relying on public donations, volunteers, and community events to sustain its mission.
